Hello, I'm Bill S.

Bill Siegmund is the owner and Chief Engineer of Digital Island Studios​,​ LLC. He is a native of Hawai’i​,​ born & raised on the island of O’ahu (get it – Digital Island!)​,​ and is a proud alumnus of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and NYU. For over thirty-five years​,​ he's been a New York City-based producer and recording engineer specializing in classical music​,​ podcasting​,​ and radio broadcast. Bill is an active educator​,​ having lectured at Juilliard​,​ the Manhattan School of Music​,​ New York University​,​ Belmont University​,​ the Institute of Audio Research​,​ the Center for Media Arts​,​ and for the Audio Engineering Society. He has been a voting member of NARAS and the AES for over twenty-five years. Bill now lives in Brooklyn and spends time with his family​,​ listening to music​,​ and playing as much soccer as his body allows.
